Safety Manager jobs in United Arab Emirates

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health & Safety Manager - Supervision to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. In this critical role you will be responsible for developing implementing and overseeing comprehensive health and safety programs across our organization. You will lead a team of safety professionals to ensure compliance with local and international safety standards fostering a culture of safety excellence.

• Develop implement and maintain health and safety policies procedures and programs in alignment with UAE regulations and international best practices
• Supervise and mentor a team of health and safety professionals providing guidance and support in their daily activities
• Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
• Lead incident investigations root cause analyses and develop preventive measures to mitigate future risks
• Design and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels of the organization
• Collaborate with department heads and project managers to integrate safety practices into all aspects of operations
• Monitor and ensure compliance with OSHA standards local labor laws and company safety policies
• Prepare and present comprehensive safety reports to senior management including key performance indicators and improvement recommendations
• Stay updated on industry trends emerging safety technologies and regulatory changes to continuously enhance the organizations safety programs
• Manage the health and safety budget including resource allocation and cost-effective solutions

• Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety Environmental Science or a related field
• Professional certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in health and safety management with a proven track record in a supervisory role
• In-depth knowledge of UAE labor laws health and safety regulations and international safety standards
• Strong understanding of OSHA standards and compliance requirements
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing comprehensive safety programs
• Excellent risk assessment incident investigation and root cause analysis skills
• Proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office suite
• Outstanding leadership abilities with experience in managing and mentoring safety teams
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
• Experience in construction manufacturing or related industries is highly preferred
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
