Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety protocols on construction sites or industrial projects. They ensure compliance with all safety regulations, conduct safety training, and promote a culture of safety to prevent accidents and injuries.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and enforce site-specific safety plans and procedures.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of the site.
Identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, local safety laws, and company policies.
Conduct safety orientations and training sessions for all site personnel.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
Manage safety documentation, including incident reports, safety audits, and training records.
Coordinate with site management and subcontractors to promote safety standards.
Monitor safety equipment and PPE compliance.
Lead emergency response planning and drills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Valid OSHA 30-Hour or 500-Hour Construction Safety Certification.
Proven experience as a Safety Officer or Safety Manager in construction or industrial environments.
In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety standards, and hazard management.
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to conduct safety training and foster a safety-first culture.
Certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) is a plus.
