Job summary
A leading hotel in Dubai is seeking an Assistant Reservations Manager to support the Reservations Manager in overseeing the hotel's reservations department. You will assist in managing the reservation team, optimize booking operations, and ensure excellent service for guests and travel partners. The ideal candidate will have experience in reservations management and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising and leading the reservations team.
- Support the implementation of reservation strategies to optimize room revenue.
- Monitor and manage room inventory and availability across distribution channels.
- Ensure accurate and efficient booking processes for guests and travel partners.
- Collaborate with the Reservations Manager, sales, and marketing teams to drive room reservations and revenue.
- Utilize reservation management software and tools to manage bookings.
- Analyze booking trends, occupancy, and revenue reports to assist in decision-making.
- Train and mentor the reservations team in providing excellent customer service.
- Address reservation-related inquiries and concerns from guests and travel partners.
- Assist in managing group reservations and negotiating group rates when necessary.
- Support in preparing and presenting reservation reports and performance metrics.
- Participate in budgeting and financial planning related to room revenue.
- Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly manner.
- Adhere to the company’s health, safety, and environmental procedures.
