Overview

To help us maintain our high standards of service we are seeking an experienced and accomplished Logistics Supervisor to drive both innovation and execution in our busy Transportation network.

Responsibilities
  • Deputize for the Operations Manager as required.
  • Prioritise and continuously improve safety at the delivery station.
  • Supervise logistics assistants, coordinators and delivery associates to ensure shipments meet and exceed operational KPIs.
  • Monitor coordinator and associate performance; coach them as needed; partner with supporting departments to improve processes; communicate with delivery service providers to set expectations and raise quality standards.
  • Interview candidates for associate roles.
  • Brief and monitor the workload of drivers and associates, ensuring all administrative tasks are accurately completed.
  • Measure and monitor overall workflows and daily metrics; assist the Operations Manager with tracking trends and reporting site performance.
  • Help with training and mentoring new associates, ensuring they gain necessary knowledge.
  • Follow up on and resolve process‑related issues when required.
  • Work flexible shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Co‑ordinate resource plans, including training needs, absences, performance management, coaching and continuous monitoring of department productivity.
Qualifications
  • Experience managing teams.
  • Experience with planning performance metrics and process improvement.
  • Experience in logistics.
  • Experience with data analysis.
  • Managerial experience (Required Experience: Manager).
