Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Business Development Manager to spearhead our efforts in expanding our reach and enhancing our business relationships within the Facility Management (FM) industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, coupled with exceptional communication and problem‑solving skills. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying new clients, maintaining existing relationships, and driving sales growth through strategic initiatives.

Core Responsibilities
  1. Maintain and cultivate current client relationships while actively seeking out opportunities for new partnerships.
  2. Initiate contact with potential clients to establish and nurture business relationships, arranging meetings to discuss potential collaborations.
  3. Identify and develop new sales areas within the FM industry, employing various methods to enhance sales performance.
  4. Stay abreast of industry trends and developments, leveraging this knowledge to create new business opportunities and expand our market presence.
  5. Collaborate closely with sales and design teams to ensure alignment with sales targets and profit goals.
  6. Provide mentorship and training to junior sales staff to enhance their performance and achieve sales objectives.
  7. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of our company's products/services, as well as our competitive positioning, to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  8. Manage inputs from key stakeholders across departments, including sales, marketing, product, finance, legal, and project management, to ensure cohesive and effective business strategies.
  9. Develop clear win strategies for each bid, ensuring compelling win themes and effective resolution of technical, strategic, and business issues.
  10. Prepare and review commercial aspects of bids, ensuring all products/services are accurately included in customer pricing.
  11. Track and mitigate risks throughout the bid process, maintaining compliance and commercial viability.
  12. Contribute to the preparation of written proposals, providing guidance on content and presentation, including executive summaries.
  13. Manage bid budgets, monitoring performance against KPIs and ensuring on‑time submission of compliant bids.
  14. Coordinate client presentations as required during bid submissions, ensuring a cohesive and compelling pitch.
  15. Drive continuous improvement through post‑bid reviews, both internally and with customers.
