Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Officer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the organization's procurement processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors.

1. Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals
2. Manage the entire procurement lifecycle, from requisition to purchase order creation and contract closure
3. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities
4. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions
5. Analyze spend data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities
6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide solutions
7. Ensure compliance with company policies, UAE regulations, and international trade laws
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation
9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
10. Continuously improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
3. Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills
4. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
5. Experience in contract management and vendor relationship management
6. Demonstrated ability in cost analysis, budgeting, and supply chain management
7. Knowledge of UAE procurement regulations and practices
8. Familiarity with international trade laws and regulations
9. Experience in international procurement practices
10. Professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CPM) preferred
11. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
12. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
