Job Description

• Manage the procurement process for spare parts, ensuring timely availability to minimize equipment downtime.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings based on quality, price, and reliability.
• Negotiate contracts and prices with suppliers to achieve cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
• Monitor stock levels of spare parts and implement automated reorder systems to maintain optimal inventory.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to understand spare parts requirements and forecast future needs accurately.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, maintaining transparency and ethical standards.
• Analyze supplier performance and implement improvement strategies to enhance procurement efficiency.
• Prepare and present procurement reports to management, highlighting trends, savings, and potential risks.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies that impact spare parts procurement and supply chain management.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, specifically in spare parts sourcing and management.
• Proficient in procurement software and ERP systems, with strong analytical skills to assess supplier data.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong supplier relationships.
• Extensive experience working with Japanese, German, and American specification parts, as well as aftermarket components, ensuring high-quality sourcing and compatibility with global standards.
