The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Assistant to support our procurement team in the timely sourcing and purchasing of materials, tools, and services for infrastructure operations and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the construction or infrastructure sector and possess strong organizational and negotiation skills. Assist in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials and services in line with project requirements and budget.

• Coordinate with project and maintenance teams to ensure timely delivery of materials for bridges, tunnels, and underpasses maintenance works.
• Prepare purchase orders, compare quotations, and maintain procurement records in compliance with company standards.
• Track and follow up on pending orders, deliveries, and supplier invoices.
• Maintain vendor database and support in evaluating supplier performance based on quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
• Liaise with stores and inventory teams to reconcile stock levels and avoid material shortages.
• Assist in preparing procurement reports and documentation for internal reviews and audits.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and local regulations.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the infrastructure, construction, or MEP sectors.
• Familiarity with materials, equipment, and services used in bridge and tunnel maintenance is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of procurement procedures, vendor management, and local UAE market.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP procurement systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
