The Plumbing Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and installation of plumbing systems throughout the hotel. This role ensures the efficient operation of water supply, drainage, and heating systems while maintaining compliance with safety and sanitation regulations. The Team Leader will supervise a team of plumbing technicians, coordinate tasks, and work closely with other departments to maintain seamless hotel operations.

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the plumbing team to ensure efficient workflow.

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, sewage, and heating systems.

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal plumbing codes and safety regulations.

• Plan and oversee preventive maintenance schedules to reduce breakdowns and extend system lifespan.

• Assist in the installation and upgrading of plumbing fixtures and systems as needed.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, inspections, and repair work.

• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for outsourced plumbing projects and repairs.

• Monitor water consumption and recommend water conservation measures.

• Train and mentor plumbing team members to improve efficiency and technical knowledge.

• Respond promptly to emergency plumbing issues and ensure minimal disruption to hotel operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in plumbing or a related field preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, pipe fittings, drainage systems, and water heating equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and plumbing schematics.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage a team effectively and coordinate tasks efficiently.

• Strong understanding of plumbing codes and safety regulations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
