Senior Operations Executive

As a Senior Operations Executive you will plan, maintain and monitor the operations of the Revenue Optimization team by effectively managing fare distribution whilst exploring different avenues to maximize sales and revenue, ensuring the highest level of service is provided to the Airlines and internal departments in compliance with SLA agreements and company standards.

In this role you will:
  • Prepare reports and analyse data on potential routes, customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting current and future product demand. Make recommendations to Strategic Alliance team and Business for sourcing Airline deal fares thus expanding product offerings.
  • Manage the operations of the Revenue Optimization team by ensuring optimal utilization of resources, leading to the achievement of the annual budgets in net contribution, steering sales on preferred Global Distribution System (GDS) and Airline carriers total revenue and income, whilst exceeding expectations wherever possible in the areas specified.
  • Discuss and agree with respective business owners the fare distribution program to optimize revenues. Effectively manage fare distribution through various dnata Travel application channels including but not limited to B2B portal - iTravel, dnata Front Office (dFO), Agent Desktop, Corporate travel tool (ACE).
  • Ensure all Airline Routes/Corporate deals received have been updated in all fare distribution channels (i.e. dnata Applications) and SharePoint as per the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Maintain effective working relationships with internal departments and ensure Service Level Agreements are effectively met. Regularly review the Pricing & Distribution strategy with the LOB Operations managers and work on increasing synergies to optimize revenues and performance to ensure service delivery to dnata travel clients.
  • Continuously seek improvements and make recommendations in change management processes, systems and technology, in order to ensure that business targets are achieved in the most efficient manner.
  • Be responsible for review, communication and implementation of SOPs, work instructions and KPIs in the department, based on our internal customer (dnata DXB & Regional LOBs) requirements, regulatory and industry standards, Quality Management Systems and departmental objectives and policies. Ensure all staff are updated on SOPs in relevant areas of operations.
  • Independently manage the role of a Project Manager or a Business Analyst during projects which involve system deployment into new regions, system enhancements products and workflows.
  • Manage the performance management process for staff, ensuring quality and timely completion of reviews for the team. Manage the team's performance through coaching, encouraging staff development and progression, and motivate the team by role modelling leadership and team-working behaviours.
