ROW Supply Chain Analytics team is looking for an innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Business Intelligence Engineer. The candidate must be detail-oriented, have superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, excellent technical skills, and should be able to juggle multiple tasks at once.

The BIE will bring innovation, a strategic perspective, a passionate voice, and an ability to prioritize and execute on a fast-moving set of priorities, competitive pressures, and operational initiatives. You will partner closely with program, product, and technology teams to define and build innovative and delightful experiences for customers. You must be highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization, and have the ability to break complex problems down into steps that drive product development at Amazon speed.

1. Transform data into digestible business intelligence and actionable information.
2. Write high-quality SQL code to retrieve and analyze data.
3. Automate data extraction and build monitoring/reporting dashboards with large data sets.
4. Deep dive into outlier events with internal stakeholders, and solve business problems focusing on understanding root causes and identifying forward-looking opportunities.
5. Provide complex analysis and insights to stakeholders and business leaders, both verbally and in writing.
6. Facilitate effective decision-making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and presenting it in an understandable, actionable format.
7. Be open to learning and developing skillsets in the latest technologies and analytical techniques.

• Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance, or a related quantitative field.
• At least 5 years of experience analyzing and interpreting data with tools like Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
• Experience using SQL to pull data from databases or data warehouses, and scripting (Python) for data processing and modeling.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Quicksight, or similar.
• Experience with forecasting and statistical analysis.
• Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
• Experience in data mining, ETL processes, and using databases with large, complex datasets in a business environment.
