A leading design firm in the UAE is seeking a skilled UX/UI Designer for a contract role to develop a new email communication framework at Etihad Headquarters in Abu Dhabi. The candidate will be responsible for applying brand guidelines to create reusable email components and ensuring best practices in UX and accessibility. Candidates must have strong experience in CRM-focused email design and proficiency in Figma. This role demands close collaboration with various teams in a fast-paced environment.

Etihad Airways is seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to support the design and rollout of a new email communications framework across CRM channels. The role will focus primarily on lifecycle and marketing communications, with responsibility for translating brand and UX/UI guidelines into scalable, reusable email components.
This is a hands‑on contract role requiring strong experience in email‑first UX/UI design, component‑based design systems, and close collaboration with CRM and marketing teams in a fast‑paced, enterprise environment.
- Design and develop a new email communications framework, primarily for lifecycle and marketing communications
- Apply brand and UX/UI parent guidelines to CRM and email channels
- Create reusable components and modular design patterns optimised for email
- Translate Figma designs into drag‑and‑drop ready components for implementation within the email CMS
- Work closely with CRM, Digital Engagement, and Marketing stakeholders to ensure designs are scalable and fit for purpose
- Ensure best practice across email UX, accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-client compatibility
- Iterate designs quickly based on stakeholder feedback and evolving requirements
- Embed on‑site as part of the Etihad digital team, contributing proactively and independently
- Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer with a strong focus on CRM and email communications
- Demonstrable experience designing lifecycle and marketing email frameworks, not just individual campaigns
- Strong understanding of email design constraints and best practices
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components and design systems
- Experience designing for CMS or drag‑and‑drop email platforms
- Ability to balance UX thinking with high-quality UI execution
- Experience working in fast‑paced, enterprise or large consumer environments
