Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports.
• Handle day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial procedures.
• Maintain and update financial records and databases accurately and promptly.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy in financial records and reporting.
• Support senior accountants in conducting financial audits and preparing documentation.
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts for management analysis.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and financial review meetings.
• Prepare and submit tax returns, filing documentation as required by regulations.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial issues or inquiries.
• Aid in identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial data and processes.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate financial reporting.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and tax regulations.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines consistently.
