A logistics and supply chain provider in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Business Development Specialist to develop new customers and create gross profit in the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or relevant certification and 2-5 years of experience in business development or freight forwarding. Key responsibilities include preparing quotations, managing customer relationships, and conducting market research. Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office, are essential for this role.
Develop new customers and create gross profit.
Prepare, submit, and follow up on quotations.
Handle customer complaints and disputes amicably with regards to service delivery, lapses, etc.
Partake in customer relationship management activities to improve business relationships with customers to retain and increase sales activities with customers.
Work with customers to create solutions for their requirements to increase business.
Conduct market research to understand industry dynamics for potential business development and understand competitor dynamics.
Higher Level Education (Bachelor qualification or Certificate)
Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
Freight Forwarding | Supply Chain Management Knowledge
Prior experience in a Commercial & Business development of similar industry
Proficient knowledge of computers especially in MS Office & Outlook.
