The Channel Marketing Engineer IT Channel - Middle East will assist the sales organization in a country with execution of channel marketing activities targeting Tier1 and Tier2 partners in-line with agreed key market segments, business strategy, target audiences as well as business and marketing plan. This role is a part of a broader community with Eaton focused on developing Eaton’s channel marketing capabilities.
The individual is responsible for working with Eaton channel sales team, marketing team, local distributors and selected resellers to activate EMEA partner programs & content as well as locally created marketing assets and campaigns.
The individual will work with the local sales organization and marketing team to support and assist the development of proper channel marketing plans targeting selected channel partner audiences to growth profitable channel business in the country.
Utilize EMEA partner programs and deploy them in the country in order to recruit, enable and retain partners and build a strong channel network in the country
Develop annual marketing business plans & quarterly marketing plans with key channel partners using partners’ MDF funds
Develop and deploy sales enablement and training programs for partners in cooperation with local field product managers and the sales team
Develop and deploy local incentives targeting local channel partners
Increase visibility of Eaton at main channel partners (POS materials, partners’ web-sites, partners’ email campaigns, partners’ events etc)
Provide channel partners with customizable demand generation content and sales tools to help generate demand for Eaton products
Systematically analyze channel marketing KPIs to support continuous improvement of channel marketing activities
Be the main contact for the local channel partners regarding Eaton related marketing topics
Be the main support for Eaton xRewards Loyalty Program
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
3+ years of related experience
Good understanding of electrical products and technologie
Understanding business basics including revenue projections, business metrics and financial planning, as well as pricing.
Marketing skills: knowledge and experience in demand generation, channel program management, loyalty programs
Presentation skills: the ability to be persuasive in front of customers, partners, industry influencers, competitors, policymakers
Fluent in English
Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
Experience in working with cross functional teams in a dynamic environment
Experience of working within a matrix organization
Relevant industry/sector experience
Must be a self-starter with energy and enthusiasm towards in a matrix team environment
Must be a team player, eager to cooperate and develop marketing further in cooperation with the colleagues from the same sales zone and other sales zones
Be flexible on working arrangements
