Job summary
A local cafe in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking an Assistant Chef / Kitchen Helper to support kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will assist the Head Chef in food preparation, ensure cleanliness, and follow hygiene standards. This role requires basic cooking experience and knowledge of both Continental and Oriental cuisine is preferred. The cafe provides a salary of AED 1,500 – 2,000, along with free accommodation, food, and transportation.

Skills

- Assist the Head Chef in daily food preparation and kitchen tasks.

- Fry items and cook simple dishes as instructed.
- Plating dishes and clearing orders.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, and workstations.
- Following hygiene and food safety standards.
- Basic cooking experience.
- Knowledge of Continental and Oriental cuisine (preferred).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and take instructions.
- Positive attitude and teamwork skills.
- Salary: AED 1,500 – 2,000 (based on experience).
