Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our consultancy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery and execution of consultancy services under contract with our clients. This role involves resource and workload planning, KPIs, deliverables, and building rapport with clients and the wider consulting team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Company representative with clients and subcontractors during program execution, interfacing with management and client personnel.
- Negotiate changes to the scope of work with clients and subcontractors.
- Market and secure additional work with clients.
- Follow up on instructions and commitments related to the project.
- Participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and public meetings in support of clients.
- Oversee the establishment of Project Execution, Health and Safety, Quality Assurance/Control Plans, and other documents.
- Establish program requirements and monitor deliverables for adherence to these criteria.
- Plan, direct, supervise, and control all project functions.
- Advise management on field engineering, construction methods, and financial matters.
- Collaborate with managers and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans.
- Ensure project goals are met or exceeded.
- Develop action plans to address cost overruns, delays, or scope changes.
- Maintain current change orders and monitor project progress.
- Report to management on milestones and conditions affecting cost or schedule.
- Hold weekly meetings to review project status.
- Perform other responsibilities as appropriate.
- Use technical knowledge to develop solutions for moderately complex problems.
- Handle less routine problems with limited supervision.
- Lead proposal development for routine or low-risk projects.
- Develop business by maintaining client relationships and ensuring loyalty.
- Lead and oversee project team tasks, priorities, and performance feedback.
- Train team members on the job.
- Provide resource requirements and influence decisions on staffing.
- Offer guidance to graduates or interns and contribute to performance reviews.
