Job summary
A leading IT consulting firm is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant in Dubai. The successful candidate will lead ERP implementations and work closely with finance stakeholders to tailor solutions that meet business requirements. Candidates must have over 5 years of experience with Dynamics 365, strong knowledge of finance modules, and proven skills in stakeholder management. This is a full-time position offering opportunities to work on transformative projects in the UAE region.

- Strong hands-on experience in Finance modules.
- End-to-end ERP implementation experience (at least 2 full lifecycle projects).
- Experience working with UAE / GCC clients.

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant to lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of D365 F&O solutions. The role requires strong functional expertise in finance modules, hands‑on implementation experience, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable ERP solutions for clients in the Middle East.
The ideal candidate will work closely with finance stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to ensure successful delivery of ERP transformation initiatives.
- Lead end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
- Configure and support core finance modules including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- Cash & Bank Management
- Budgeting and Financial Reporting
- Conduct business requirement gathering and translate them into functional design documents (FDDs)
- Advise clients on best practices, process optimization, and system improvements
- Support month‑end and year‑end financial processes within D365 F&O
- Lead workshops, UAT sessions, and user training
- Coordinate with technical teams for:
- Integrations
- Data migration
- Customizations and extensions
- Validate system configurations and ensure alignment with business requirements
- Support go‑live activities and post‑implementation stabilization
- Work closely with finance heads, controllers, and business users
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, local statutory requirements, and IFRS
- Prepare functional documentation, test scripts, and training materials
- Act as a functional SME during audits and system reviews
- 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
- Strong hands‑on experience in Finance modules
- End‑to‑end ERP implementation experience (at least 2 full lifecycle projects)
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles
- Experience working with UAE / GCC clients
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Data Migration Framework (DMF)
- Exposure to Power BI, Financial Reporting, or Management Reporter
- Understanding of integrations with third‑party systems
- Knowledge of Agile / Waterfall ERP delivery models
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance certification (preferred)
