We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Laboratory Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory equipment and materials needed for scientific experiments and research.
• Conduct routine quality control tests to ensure the integrity of laboratory supplies.
• Assist in the collection, processing, and recording of experimental data and results.
• Manage inventory and order laboratory supplies as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the laboratory area.
• Dispose of hazardous waste and materials in compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
• Perform basic laboratory techniques and follow standard operating procedures accurately.
• Calibrate and perform maintenance on laboratory equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Assist researchers in setting up and dismantling experimental setups as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all laboratory safety protocols and regulations.
• Contribute to the preparation of reports, presentations, and scientific publications.
• Stay updated with the latest laboratory techniques and technological advancements.
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in a science-related field preferred.
• Previous experience in a laboratory setting is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely and thoroughly.
• Proficient in basic computer applications and data entry, particularly in laboratory software.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Understanding of laboratory health and safety guidelines and practices.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently within a dynamic work environment.
