An education services firm in Dubai is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager specializing in student recruitment. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in attracting students for admissions in virtual universities, along with established relationships with key stakeholders in the education industry. Responsibilities include engaging in recruitment activities, generating new revenue opportunities, and conducting client research. This role is essential for driving strategic planning and growth within the company.
Qualifications
- Experience with international and local student recruitment for higher education.
- Proven track record in attracting students for admissions in virtual smart universities.
- Strong relationships with key stakeholders in the education industry.
Responsibilities
- Engage in student recruitment at various educational fairs and events.
- Sourcing agents from business trips and general searches.
- Conduct client research and engage with key industry players.
Skills
- Experience with international/local student recruitment for Higher Education
- Experience in attracting students for admissions in virtual smart universities for online Studies
- Established relevant agency network and solid relationships with key stakeholders in similar industry
- A solid understanding of industry trends is essential to inform the group on strategic planning and forecasting
- Experience sourcing agents from fairs, business trips, enquiries, referrals, in general searches in line with business development responsibilities
- Experience in generating new revenue from existing streams and accounts as well as identifying new opportunities
- Proven track record of assisting in identifying and supporting developing potential business partners and growing existing client relationships
- Experience performing client research including (but not limited to) meeting/engaging with key players in the industry
