Job summary

The ideal candidate will oversee the estimation process, analyze project requirements, and provide accurate cost estimates. Responsibilities include leading a team for cost analysis, interpreting project plans, collaborating with stakeholders, researching vendor bids, and monitoring project costs. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering, at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in estimating costs for construction projects, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Certification in estimating or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the estimation team in analyzing project requirements and creating cost estimates.
  • Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate estimates.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project scope and requirements.
  • Research and analyze vendor bids, subcontractor quotes, and material pricing to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
  • Monitor and track project costs throughout the lifecycle of the project to ensure accuracy and make adjustments as needed.
