Job summary
A leading educational institution in the UAE is seeking a qualified candidate for a mechanical engineering position focusing on the development of Thermally self‑chargeable supercapacitors. The role involves the fabrication of electrode materials and solid electrolytes. Applicants should hold a PhD in renewable energy or material science, with experience in supercapacitor fabrication being advantageous. The initial appointment is for one year, starting January 2024, with a potential for extension.
Qualifications
- Must have obtained a PhD degree in renewable energy, material science or related fields.
- Experience in fabrication and characterization of supercapacitors is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Development of Thermally self‑chargeable supercapacitors.
- Fabrication of electrode materials and solid electrolyte for TCSCs.
The position is available in the department of mechanical engineering focusing on development of Thermally self‑chargeable supercapacitor (TCSCs). Fabrication of electrode materials and solid electrolyte for TCSCs are the main objectives of this project. Candidate must have obtained a PhD degree in renewable energy, material science or related fields. Experience in fabrication and characterization of supercapacitors is a plus. The appointment is initially for 1 year starting from January 2024 and can be extended. Only online submissions will be entertained.
