The Global Deputy Lead - Compliance Systems and Controls will work closely with the Head of Compliance Systems and Controls to manage and enhance compliance systems, processes, and technology solutions. This role involves overseeing a team and leveraging data science and technology to optimize compliance models and ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of Binance’s Compliance Program.

• Compliance Systems & Controls: Develop and optimize compliance systems for AML, KYC, KYB, transaction screening, and market surveillance.
• Data Science & Technology Integration: Apply advanced technologies like Machine Learning and analytics to improve compliance processes.
• Model Validation & Monitoring: Validate and optimize customer risk scoring models, screening rules, and ensure compliance systems are functioning effectively.
• Change Control & Documentation: Ensure all compliance-related processes and systems meet regulatory standards and are documented in a clear, auditable manner.
• MIS Reporting: Develop and maintain Management Information Systems (MIS) reports to assess team efficiency and compliance performance.
• Leadership & Development: Manage and coach a team of compliance professionals, ensuring development and alignment with compliance objectives.
• Strategic Consulting: Review regulatory requirements and design solutions for compliance processes, ensuring alignment with senior management and product teams.

• Experience: 10+ years in Compliance, with at least 5 years focused on systems development, improvement, and data analytics.
• Management: At least 6 years of experience managing teams and leading projects from strategy to implementation.
• Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of compliance control processes such as KYC/KYB, AML, sanctions, ABC, and CTF.
• Technical Expertise: Experience with data science frameworks (e.g., LLM, Machine Learning) to enhance compliance systems.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields preferred.
• Certifications: Compliance certifications (CAMS, CFE), PMP, Six Sigma, or Agile project management certifications preferred.
• Industry Knowledge: Working knowledge of the cryptocurrency and digital currency landscape.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, leadership, and project management abilities.
