Job Description

  • To develop manage and grow the industry segment with specific focus on Data Center and AI businesses of GE Grid Systems Integration (GSI) and to capture specific market requirements in relation to solutions and feed any portfolio gaps into the PL accordingly.
  • To identify and fully understand the routes to market and our competition and to share internally the commercial strategies and key challenges of the projects and our customer base.
  • To support the commercial team in the region with potential customers such as DC/AI Hyperscalers & Collocators Consultants Infrastructure EPC Other Industries O&G and developers to present and support their technical needs and requirements to promote our Solutions.
  • Provide first level technical support in presentations and material submissions as necessary to clients.
  • To support tendering activity to execute solutions in accordance with customer needs.
  • Establish and maintain adequate reliable market intelligence network in MEA region including Projects Competitor Activities & New Opportunities. Use this understanding to formulate winning strategies.
  • For target projects:
    • formulation and management of strategy
    • identification and cultivation of key decision-maker relationships
    • preparation and submission of proposals budgetary information and other documentation.
  • Selects and develops relationships conducive to the placement of business with prospective Clients either directly or indirectly via Key Account Managers of other GE Vernova businesses Sales and Proposals org or Region Capture Team Leader.
  • Establish the capability to offer prospective Clients complete financial commercial and technical solutions together with the operational economic evaluation of those solutions.
  • Recognize the need for and seek to establish strategic partnerships with other product disciplines local suppliers consultants etc. which add value to our GSI offering.
  • As appropriate in conjunction with regional Commercial Team follow Client relationships through to bid negotiation and contract award.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in engineering

Desired

  • Significant & relevant experience in sales commercial operations risk or marketing
  • Effective oral and written communication in both English and Arabic
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to direct complex daily activity of multiple work streams focused on issue resolution.
  • A good understanding of contract management principles the ability to manipulate and shape deals and formulate.
  • Ability to form relationships that facilitates viable client solutions.
