About the Role :
We are a reputable accounting firm in Lynnwood seeking a motivated and detail-oriented newly qualified SAIPA accountant to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent SAIPA graduate to apply their skills in accounting, taxation, and financial reporting within a professional practice environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare and review financial statements and reports for clients.
Perform bookkeeping, accounting duties, and data analysis.
Manage tax compliance including income tax, provisional tax, VAT, and SARS submissions.
Assist with audits and other regulatory compliance matters.
Provide client support on accounting and tax-related issues.
Collaborate with senior accountants and contribute to business advisory services.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and industry trends.
Support multiple clients concurrently with accuracy and professionalism.
Minimum Requirements :
SAIPA Professional Accountant qualification (articles completed).
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and SARS eFiling.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transport preferred.
