• Minimum of 5 years working experience as a Site Developer
• Minimum 5 years working experience with development within the Telecoms industry (ESSENTIAL)
• Minimum 5 years working experience within the Out of Home (OOH) industry (ADVANTAGEOUS)
• Must have extensive geographical knowledge regarding surrounding responsible region (ESSENTIAL)
• Highly experienced in securing developing and building sites for individual portfolio (ESSENTIAL)
• Experience & knowledge in town planning (ESSENTIAL)
• Proven track record in managing site acquisitions permits and telecom infrastructure development (towers & small cells) and Out of Home (OOH) advertising assets (billboards & digital signage)
• Familiarity with zoning regulations local permit processes and environmental considerations in both telecom and Out of Home (OOH) site development
• Proficient on all MS Office programmes
• Proficient on GIS AutoCAD Site Planning and Mapping tools
• Willing to travel & oversee site developments across multiple locations as directed
• Must have own Laptop / WIFI and internet connectivity (ESSENTIAL)
• Own vehicle (ESSENTIAL)

Duties & Responsibilities

JOB FUNCTION :

As a Site Developer you will be responsible for identifying securing and managing site locations for both telecom infrastructure (e.g. cell towers microsites and network nodes) and outdoor advertising (OOH) assets (e.g. billboards digital screens and other advertising structures). Your role will combine both industries requirements ensuring efficient site development project execution and adherence to regulatory standards.

You will work closely with internal teams contractors local authorities and property owners to ensure the successful and timely completion of site acquisition development and permitting processes.

KEY PERFORMANCE DUTIES :

Site Identification and Acquisition :

• Research and identify potential sites for telecom and OOH infrastructure across various geographic locations
• Build and maintain a pipeline of sites suitable for telecom towers microsites small cells and OOH advertising assets
• Engage with landowners property developers and municipalities to secure leasing agreements and approvals for new sites
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (real estate engineering legal) to assess site feasibility for both telecom and OOH purposes

Permits & Regulatory Compliance :

• Oversee the application process for all necessary permits zoning approvals and local ordinances related to both telecom infrastructure and OOH advertising
• Ensure compliance with environmental safety and regulatory standards for both telecom and billboard projects
• Liaise with local government agencies and regulatory bodies to navigate permitting and approval challenges

Site Development & Project Management :

• Lead site development efforts for both telecom and OOH installations managing timelines budgets and resources
• Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to ensure site readiness for installation and longterm maintenance
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of telecom and OOH assets ensuring highquality execution and ontime delivery

Stakeholder Management :

• Foster relationships with external stakeholders such as landlords property owners contractors local councils and municipal authorities
• Negotiate leases contracts and agreements in line with company policies and market trends
• Provide regular updates to senior management regarding site development progress potential risks and opportunities
• Monitor industry trends in both telecom infrastructure and OOH advertising identifying opportunities for growth and optimization
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the companys site development portfolio ensuring it aligns with broader business objectives
• Support sales and marketing teams with sitespecific information to drive sales for billboard inventory or telecom services

Scouting and Filtering :

• Scout and identify potential sites for development
• Conduct desktop and road evaluations of sites
• Capture site pictures and process scouting information
• Compile and submit filtering emails for site evaluations
• Provide feedback based on filter emails

Verification :

• Create and manage folders for each site
• Complete site request pages and gather additional information
• Activate a Graphic Designer for required site proposals

Liaise with Landlords :

• Compile and deliver proposals
• Attend meetings with landlords
• Attend to and resolve all queries

Installation Process :

• Manage the project (AZ) ensuring the project runs smoothly to get an effective turnaround time
• Engage with Project Manager & Landlord on timelines
• Conducting site inspections (when required)
• Engage with Engineers (When required)
• Drafting of quotations
