Responsibilities

• Maintain the company's software computer system, including the local area network (LAN).
• Perform backups and restores as required, and when disaster recovery tests are needed.
• Ensure the security of the systems is maintained.
• Maintain and reset passwords to the administrative user-ids as required.
• Troubleshoot routine problems that users cannot fix, e.g., printers.
• Monitor performance of client systems and internal systems.
• Be responsible for Nagios and proactive issue reporting.
• Keep documentation up to date on incidents and user queries.
• Inform management concerning problems accurately.
• Ensure confidentiality of company and client information.
• Undertake relevant projects.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks as required by management.
