We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic General Sales Assistant to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and helping to maintain a clean and organized store environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a friendly demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them with finding products
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products and promotions
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Restock shelves and maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and goals
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills

Qualifications:

- Grade 12/High school diploma or equivalent is accepted
- Must reside in or around Ladysmith
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
