Job summary
A leading distribution company is searching for a motivated and experienced Transport Supervisor to lead logistics operations in Johannesburg, Gauteng. This role involves managing drivers, ensuring efficient deliveries, and monitoring safety procedures. Candidates should have a Grade 12 certificate, relevant diploma or degree, and 3-5 years of supervisory experience in the FMCG sector. Proficiency in MS Office is required. This position offers an exciting opportunity to enhance logistics within the liquor industry.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 certificate is mandatory.
- Diploma or degree in Distribution Management is required.
- 3-5 years of experience in Distribution/Fleet/Logistics Supervisor role within FMCG.
Responsibilities
- Serve as contact person for all drivers and assistants.
- Ensure effective daily handover of deliveries.
- Monitor driver's adherence to schedule using Zeno.
