Deputy Chief Financial Officer (Deputy CFO)

• Collaborate with the CFO to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organizations overarching goals and long‑term vision.
• Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of all financial statements and reports.
• Establish and rigorously monitor internal controls to effectively mitigate financial risks.
• Maintain strict compliance with all relevant laws regulations and accounting standards (e.g. IFRS GAAP tax requirements).
• Oversee the daily operations of the finance department including accounts payable / receivable payroll treasury audit coordination and procurement policy implementation.
• Spearhead process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Champion talent development performance management and succession planning within the finance function.
• Manage stakeholder relationships ensuring efficient and effective communication and support.
• Drive functional improvements through the strategic application of technology and robust systems management.

• Masters degree (e.g. MBA or MFin).
• Professional Certification (CA ACCA CPA or CMA) is a minimum requirement.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting.
• At least 3‑5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis planning and reporting.
• Proven ability to inspire lead and develop teams to achieve high performance.
• Proficiency in aligning financial management with organizational goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities for effective problem‑solving.
