A global leader in materials from renewable resources seeks a Sales Manager responsible for managing customer accounts to drive growth in sales of packaging grades. This position, focused on paperboard sales, has a revenue responsibility of $50M and requires 8-12 years of sales experience. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in the packaging industry and will work closely with customers to identify needs and develop solutions. Travel throughout the North American market is expected.
The Sales Manager is responsible for managing existing and new customer accounts with the goal of driving growth in sales of packaging grades for Sappi North America. The initial focus will be on selling paperboard to domestic converters and end users. Targeted applications include primarily folding carton, with some focus on food service board. This position has a sales revenue responsibility of $50M with large growth potential.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; one-on-one and group presentations.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Salesforce
Willing to travel extensively throughout the North American market.
