Maintenance Technician

Description: Our client, a well-established wine brand located on the outskirts of Stellenbosch, is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs (building, electrical work, mechanical work, welding, woodworking, power tools, plumbing, irrigation).
2. Respond to work orders and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
3. Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues and make recommendations.
4. Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces.
5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
6. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and hours worked.
7. Assist in emergency repairs or maintenance as required.
8. All other farm-related maintenance.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

1. Matric required;
2. A relevant technical qualification will be advantageous;
3. Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role;
4. Working knowledge of Health & Safety principles;
5. Valid driver's license and own reliable transport.
