Senior/Principal Mechanical Engineer Opportunity in Greater ‘East’ London!

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead mechanical HVAC services detailed designs from Stage 2-4.
- Develop detailed designs for domestic water and above ground drainage systems.
- Manage a diverse range of projects from start to completion.
- Conduct condition surveys and produce comprehensive reports.
- Perform feasibility studies and develop energy/carbon and sustainability strategies.
- Implement schemes for decarbonisation.
- Assist and mentor junior staff members.
- Liaise with design team members and supervise project implementation stages.
- Undertake quality and progress inspections on-site.
- Chair progress meetings and act as Contract Administrator, managing handover and defects periods.
Ideal Candidate:
- Mechanical Engineering Degree or Masters.
- Proficiency in IES or similar modelling software.
- Experience or willingness to take on Project Management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Desire to develop their knowledge and career.
- Chartered, or with a view to obtaining CEng status.
