A leading global fund administration provider is seeking a confident and self-motivated Fund Accountant to join their team in South Africa. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing portfolio valuations and maintaining accurate accounting records. Ideal candidates will hold a relevant commerce degree and have strong interpersonal skills, analytical abilities, and at least 2 years of related experience. Qualifications

  • At least 2 years related experience.
  • Hedge fund industry knowledge would be a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily, weekly and/or monthly portfolio valuations.
  • Maintain the underlying accounting records for assigned funds.
  • Liaise with fund managers and brokers to resolve issues.
