Oversees the planning, design and implementation of system engineering projects. Provides technical direction in-line with business goals. Trains, mentors, and supports systems engineers. Installs, configures, and upgrades and enhances software, hardware, and network systems. Leads the enhancement of processes, procedures, and policies relating to systems functioning and performance. Meets with management team of multiple functional areas and vendors on the planning, upgrading, testing, securing, and servicing of IT solutions. Develops, modifies, tests, implements, documents, and maintains systems software and hardware. Troubleshoots and resolves server, operating system, and other infrastructure problems. Monitors systems and networks for viruses, malfunctions, and errors. Prepares network analytics, data reports, and operational manuals. Performs troubleshooting and remediation, ensures successful project implementation, and performs post‑project end‑user support. Manages project timelines, budgets, and documentation. Trains the engineering team on new systems, protocols, and best practices. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards.
A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and requires 5 – 7 years of related experience. Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional preferred.
