Please note that this role will require you to travel nationally to engage with partners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to expand FNB Energy Solutions' (FES) footprint in the energy sector.
  • Build and nurture Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) relationships that evolve into long‑term development partnerships.
  • Lead negotiations for Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and other critical contracts.
  • Identify market trends and opportunities to position FES as a leader in energy solutions.
  • Oversee a team of professionals to deliver on growth objectives and strategic projects.
  • Develop tactical plans to drive revenue growth.
  • Develop tactical strategy and delivery plans in support of functional strategic objectives in partnership with leadership.
  • Manage market positioning, new business, and complex deals.
  • Maximise business portfolio cross‑sell opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
Qualifications
  • Have a minimum of a BCom Degree in Engineering, Law, Accounting, Commerce, Finance or related field (Postgraduate Degree advantageous).
  • Have a minimum of 3 to 5 years relevant experience in business development leadership role within financial services, energy or infrastructure sectors.
  • Have good understanding of the respective product and ability to structure deals within that environment (energy solutions).
  • Have strong knowledge of EPC and PPA frameworks.
  • Have exceptional strategic thinking, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Are able to drive growth and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
