A local retail company in East London is looking for a Branch Manager to oversee staff, manage store operations, and maximize profitability. Candidates should hold a Grade 12 certificate, possess good computer skills, and have retail experience, although the latter is advantageous. A valid driver’s license and own transport are essential for this role.
Formación
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
- Experience in retail/clothing environment is advantageous.
- Valid Driver’s License and own transport are required.
Responsabilidades
- Managing staff at the retail branches.
- Opening and closing the store.
- Handling cash-ups and depositing cash.
- Addressing customer queries and complaints.
- Overseeing pricing and stock control.
- Maximising profitability by meeting sales targets.
Conocimientos
Educación
This role is based within a local, privately owned Retail company, with its head office based in East London and branches across the broader East London area. Its focus is to assist in the various branches as needed, and to act as Branch Manager when they are on leave. The position reports directly to the Owner.
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Previous experience within similar role / working with staff (advantageous)
- Previous experience within retail / clothing environment (advantageous)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Own transport
- Good computer skills, with Pastel experience advantageous
- Managing staff
