Job summary

A leading energy company in South Africa is seeking a dynamic individual for a Generation Peaking role in the Maintenance Department. Responsibilities include controlling operations and maintaining electrical or mechanical plant equipment. Candidates must possess at least Grade 12 with Maths and Science and have 2 years of technical experience in a maintenance environment. This is a full-time position located in East London, Eastern Cape.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Perform operating activities.
• Take out plant permits.
• Perform administrative duties.
• Maintain electrical or mechanical plant equipment.
• Assist with modifications.
• Ensure availability of correct spares and materials.
• Perform stand by duties.
• Supervise contractors Eskom employee activities during outages.
