A multi-disciplinary engineering services provider is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Cape Town. The candidate will coordinate engineering activities for various projects and ensure that installations comply with specifications. They will also mentor junior engineers, manage project components, and liaise with different teams. - 5+ years of experience in project engineering with a mechanical contractor.
- Experience in delivering mechanical projects (Commercial, Industrial, pharma, data centre).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate technical design with onsite installation ensuring compliance.
- Prepare method statements and risk assessments for production activities.
- Liaise with design team, contractors, and project teams on technical issues.
