• Strong understanding of regulatory reporting, governance, security, and compliance.
• Experience defining and supporting real-time and batch data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design architecture, frameworks, governance, and data models for a national-scale banking data platform.
• Define ingestion pipelines for banking and payment systems.
• Establish governance and security layers.

Skills

Deep understanding of enterprise data platforms across Azure, AWS or Google Cloud

Strong knowledge of data governance and regulatory reporting

Expertise in high-volume transaction data ingestion

Ability to design scalable data models for analytics and reporting

Knowledge of data security and access control

Strong architectural thinking and systems design skills

Collaboration across operational, engineering, analytics and compliance teams

Experience supporting platforms operating at national scale

Education

Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field

Professional data or cloud certifications across Azure, AWS or Google Cloud
