A growing technology company in Cape Town is seeking a Financial Accountant to manage financial administration and reporting. Responsibilities include preparing balance sheet reconciliations, supporting monthly closings, and applying subscription accounting principles. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a SaaS environment, and a solid understanding of Dutch & South African tax laws. Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a SaaS or software environment.
• Experience with month-end and year-end closing and Dutch GAAP standards.
• Experience with Dutch & South African Tax Law.

Responsibilities

• Process and review financial transactions in the general ledger.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and financial reports.
• Manage and reconcile intercompany accounts, bank transactions, and accounts receivable/payable.
• Apply revenue recognition principles for subscriptions and contracts.
