Are you energetic, ambitious, and looking to develop your career? Our Johannesburg Study Abroad Sports department is looking to add an Assistant Sports Recruiter to their team. We offer a dynamic and challenging environment where we achieve our business objectives and have fun doing it.

To work alongside the Manager and Business Director and to support the recruitment-sales team in the completion of all daily admin tasks and ensure the company is continuously recruiting new student athletes to study and play college/university sports abroad.

• Demonstrate excellent organisational and time-management skills, ensuring tasks and client interactions are accurately tracked and up to date.

• Exhibit professionalism and attention to detail when handling sensitive client information, ensuring data security and compliance.
• Can multitask and remain adaptable in a dynamic environment.
• Are enthusiastic about attending sporting events, career days, and expos to actively promote the program and identify potential recruits.
• Are resourceful and innovative, always looking for ways to improve recruitment processes.
• Stay informed on product knowledge and the latest developments in the student-athlete space to effectively advise potential candidates.

Your Role And Responsibilities

Among other tasks, your main responsibilities will include:

• Student-Athlete Recruitment and Business Development:
• Achieving weekly KPIs and targets.
• Conducting recruitment calls and consultations.
• Following up to confirm meetings and attendance.
• Reminding applicants of deadlines and completing contract reviews.
• Evaluating the academic and athletic potential of students.
• Building and maintaining relationships with coaches and key school staff.
• Attending career days, educational expos, and sporting events nationwide.
• Assisting in developing and refining recruitment processes.

• Securely handling and storing client information.
