We are seeking an accomplished Procurement Professional to lead our sourcing operations.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating all procurement and sourcing functions to ensure optimal cost, quality, and lead times.
You will source and evaluate new suppliers locally and internationally to secure the best possible deals.
Negotiate supplier contracts and identify opportunities for improved products and cost savings.
Manage relationships with our international sourcing office to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration.
Conduct supplier visits and performance reviews to assess their capabilities and areas for improvement.
Support management in achieving target Gross Profit (GP) margins through strategic sourcing initiatives.
Maintain accurate product price lists and supplier records to ensure efficient inventory management.
Communicate effectively with internal teams on new, discontinued, or updated products to maintain a competitive edge.
Oversee procurement reporting and analytics to inform data‑driven decision making.
A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in procurement or buying is essential for this role.
Tertiary qualification in Buying, Supply Chain, or a related field is highly desirable.
Proven experience negotiating with global suppliers and managing cross‑cultural relationships is crucial.
Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement compliance, and supplier governance is required.
Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills is necessary.
Supervisory or team leadership experience is advantageous but not essential.
Skilled in negotiation, relationship management, and performing under pressure is vital.
