Hire Resolve's client is looking for a skilled Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and experience working with financial records and transactions. The Accountant will be responsible for managing and analyzing financial data, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Budget preparation & assistance with various budgets
2. Preparing monthly Operations Reports
3. Management fees, dividends and tax calculations
4. Compiling month end Dreyersdal packs
5. Sundry Factory / Distribution cost monthly analysis & processing
6. Updating Waste, R/kg, tonnage, gainshare schedules monthly
7. Reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts
8. Managing Profit Estimate File
9. Update & Completing - Distribution & African Closure Income statements
10. Capex - capitalising/scrapping assets, monthly depreciation
11. Calculations, reconciling, posting HPs, update monthly HP schedule
12. Journal preparation and processing
13. General housekeeping and filing
14. Any other ad hoc related duties when required

Qualifications:

1. BCom Accounting Degree
2. 2-3 years' relevant work experience
3. Be highly computer literate (Excel)
4. SAP experience or knowledge would be advantageous
5. Ability to use own initiative and work with minimum supervision
6. Able to work flexible working hours (overtime when/if needed)
7. Able to work under pressure in order to meet strict deadlines
8. Confident, independent person who is a fast learner and a team player
9. Assertive, logical thinker and strong relationship building skills
10. Be enthusiastic, positive and self-energised

An ability to adapt to change quickly and effectively.
