We are assisting our client in the recruitment of a Production Manager in the Aluminium Factory. The ideal candidate must have experience as a production manager, overseeing production activities, ensuring resource availability, and managing factory maintenance to optimize expenses and productivity. Responsibilities include scheduling personnel, achieving work results, setting priorities, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and reporting outcomes.

Required Tasks
  1. Conduct weekly safety checks on all machinery and tools, reporting damages immediately
  2. Ensure all staff have the correct tools and conduct weekly checks
  3. Manage timely production while meeting quality standards, adhering to a 7-day turnaround
  4. Monitor production output and quality, implementing corrective measures as needed
  5. Update management on production progress and sign off timesheets promptly
  6. Ensure compliance with company procedures and assist with monthly stock takes
  7. Improve production line efficiencies and monitor staff performance with daily reports
  8. Oversee scrap wastage and conduct monthly toolbox talks
  9. Perform any other reasonable duties within the scope of work
Qualifications

Diploma or BCom related to Management or Production field

Experience
  1. 3-5 years of relevant experience
  2. Proven track record as a production manager
  3. Ability to organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
  4. Proficient in MS Office
