Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure raw material and equipment availability, efficient (OEE) processing of the material into finished products, and on-time delivery (Just in Sequence) to the customer.
2. Ensure that product quality standards are met and comply with all legal regulations.
3. Manage all direct and indirect work sequences in your area.
4. Maintain regular communication with the Customer regarding expectations and performance.
5. Ensure adherence to business operating systems and standards as identified by the Quality Department.
6. Collaborate daily with other departmental heads to ensure smooth work sequences across all shifts.
7. Manage personnel goals against respective KPIs.
8. Recommend new procedures and processes to improve quality, quantity, and reduce production costs.
9. Consult regularly with HR and participate in Union / Shop Steward Meetings.
10. Plan employee development to enhance performance and help them achieve personal goals.
11. Develop succession plans for key positions within departments.
12. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
13. Coordinate and lead activities related to servicing, machinery, systems/equipment, and facilities.
14. Ensure timely compilation and reporting of daily, weekly, and monthly performance data.

Required Education:

1. Relevant degree/diploma with qualification in Production or Engineering.
2. Minimum of 8 years managerial experience in a high-pressure production environment.
3. Computer literacy.
