A media research company is seeking a candidate to conduct in-depth media research and provide sales support through compelling insights. The role includes analyzing viewer behavior, preparing reports, and collaborating with sales teams to improve strategies. The ideal applicant will also liaise with clients, support account management, and represent the company at industry events, ensuring data-driven consultations and relationships. Strong analytical skills and experience with industry tools are required.
Conducting in-depth research using industry tools (e.g. Telmar, Nielsen, BRC) to understand media consumption patterns.
Analysing data on viewer behaviour, content performance, and audience demographics.
Identifying target audiences and assess their characteristics, preferences, and media habits.
Monitoring and evaluating competitor activity and advertising performance across media platforms.
Providing the sales team with compelling insights and sales narratives through regular go-to-market presentations.
Submitting weekly media industry reports on audience trends and content consumption.
Tracking and communicating all CPP (cost per point) deals and market fluctuations.
Analysing post-campaign performance to evaluate effectiveness and improve future sales strategies.
Compiling and submitting trend and insight reports to the Group Executive Advertising Sales and Group Head of Sales.
Preparing and delivering monthly internal presentations on eMedia channel and competitor channel performance.
Producing ad hoc reports as required by management or stakeholders.
Attending client and agency meetings alongside Account Executives to provide research-based support.
Helping maintain strong relationships by offering insightful and data-driven consultation to clients.
Assisting in managing client and agency expectations with credible media intelligence.
Collaborating with Account Executives and Sales Management to align research with business objectives.
Assisting in training and upskilling sales teams on media consumption trends, tools, and competitor strategies.
Attending and representing the company at relevant industry forums (e.g. BRC, Telmar, Nielsen briefings).
Building, supporting, and maintaining interpersonal and team relationships to ensure stable working environment and achievement of team objectives.
