Job description

Sales Manager

BioClin solutions offers the opportunity to apply for a dynamic Sales Manager role within the business.

A sales manager who is driven, result-oriented, and highly motivated with established relationships within the industry would be the ideal candidate.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Manage a team of professional internal & external sales representatives to achieve business sales targets.
  2. Implement sales and marketing strategies to aid existing & future sales growth.
  3. Develop yearly, quarterly, and monthly holistic sales strategy for the business.
  4. Develop channel and regional strategies in line with the holistic business sales strategy.
  5. Develop new channels of sales within the business.
  6. Effectively deliver business reviews to Key Customers.
  7. Effectively manage sales expenses.
  8. Develop and maintain excellent relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and key Customers within all channels.
  9. Responsible for forecasting and sales tracking.
  10. Analysis and reporting to the Directors regarding sales tracking.
  11. Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends that affect current and future growth of sales.
  12. Disseminate information to all sales staff effectively.
  13. Coach and develop a professional sales team.
  14. Develop a bi-annually training plan for the sales team.
  15. Manage and create channel price files.
  16. Manage and create commercial aspects of the sales strategy (Margin parameters etc.).

Provide quality leadership by creative improvements and inspiring others. Develop & grow the Export channel within the business. Lead the sales team by ensuring individual targets are reached, managing performance, coaching, mentoring, hiring, and career development in accordance with the company's policies and procedures. Measure team competence against job needs analysis and KPA. Manage individual development with the Performance management process.

Desired Experience & Qualification
  1. Appropriate tertiary qualification - medical related qualification required.
  2. Proficient in Excel, Word & Power Point.
  3. Previous Sales Management experience will be an advantage.
  4. Minimum of 5 years experience as a Medical Sales Representative in surgical / capital equipment products.
  5. A valid driver's license.
  6. Existing relationships with corporate hospital groups and industry wholesalers required at a head office level.
