Job summary
A leading corporate bank in Sandton is seeking a talented IT Architect to design cutting-edge architectures for enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of IT architectural experience and familiarity with trading systems and protocols. Strong collaboration and presentation skills are essential. This permanent role offers a competitive salary of R1.6 million per annum.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of solid IT architectural experience.
- TOGAF and Cloud certifications preferred.
- Deep knowledge of application, integration, and data architecture frameworks.

- BSc or BCom in Computer Science / Information Systems.
- 3 to 5 years of solid IT architectural experience.
- TOGAF and Cloud certifications? Big bonus!
- Experience influencing and collaborating across multiple jurisdictions.
- Confident presenting complex architecture concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proven track record of delivering across Markets or Corporate & Investment Banking sectors.
- Deep knowledge of application, integration, and data architecture frameworks.
- Familiarity with trading systems (Bloomberg, Murex) and trading protocols (FIX, gRPC).
- Understanding of low-latency, high-throughput, and high-availability systems.
