Job summary

A software solutions provider in KwaZulu-Natal is looking for a training specialist to educate users on software and hardware. This role involves breaking down complex concepts for better understanding and supporting users during installations. Candidates must have A+ and N+ certifications, along with at least 2 years of training experience. A valid driver's license and own vehicle are required for travel to client sites. This position may involve overtime as needed.

  • At least 2 years of POS/Training experience is required.
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle required for travel.
  • Experience in FMCG sector is advantageous.

Job description
Overview

Join our KZN branch!

You will love this role if you can easily master software and train others on what you have learned. You will see ARCH users applying our hardware and software successfully after training from you. You will help Spinnaker's mission to give retailers the edge by ensuring they understand and utilise the functionality of their system to better manage their business. You should be keen to learn all about our software and hardware, as this role focuses on translating complex concepts into easy-to-understand, bite-sized information for others.

Responsibilities
  • Train users on software and hardware so they can effectively use the system.
  • Break down large concepts into smaller, understandable components for trainees.
  • Facilitate learner understanding of system functionality to improve business management.
  • Support users during new installations and post-training adoption.
  • Travel to clients’ sites as required to deliver training and support.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • At least A+ and N+ certifications and previous POS/Training experience, at least 2 years.
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle required for travel to client sites.
  • Willingness to work from 8:00 to 17:00 with overtime as needed for installations.
  • CTT or equivalent training/teaching certification is a bonus.
  • Clear criminal record is a requirement.
  • Experience in the FMCG sector and training environment is advantageous.
